Can I play music outside?

Yes, music can be played outside during daylight hours and during outdoor ceremonies.

What time can I arrive the day of my wedding?

We personally do not set the times. We allow whoever is doing hair and make-up make that call. We have opened the doors as early as 6am.

What time can my vendors arrive the day of my wedding?

Because we never leave the venue unattended your vendors are welcome to come at their convenience to set up.

Who sets up and takes down the tables and chairs for my event?

Southern Soirées & More staff sets up all the tables and chairs and the cleaning crew sees to their removal.

Do I need to clean after my event?

Cleaning Fees are already factored into the venue rental so cleaning is not necessary; however, loitering of the venue and grounds will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Food spills, vomit, overflowed toilets, and breakage of any kind needs to be reported to venue staff immediately!

Am I allowed to bring in my own décor?

While Southern Soirees offers decorating and décor rental for your convenience you are not required to use these services. You are free to bring in your own décor and decorate for the event yourself.

Am I allowed to use Sparklers for my grand exit?

YES you are! We love and enjoy our sparkler exits!

Are pets allowed?

When in doubt...ask. Certain animals will be allowed within reason.

What is the capacity of your venue?

Max capacity is 300.

Do you offer a payment plan?

30% of your venue rental is due at the time of booking and is required to reserve your date. It is applied to the balance and is non-refundable. Remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to your event date and you are welcome to make payments until your event is paid in full.

Can I provide my own alcohol?

Southern Soirees is equipped with a full-service bar and trained bartenders. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited on the grounds and indoors of the venue. Liquor packages and/or cash bar are available. ID is required!

If outside alcohol is caught anywhere on the premises you will be fined $1000 and you run the risk of your event being shut down regardless of who brings the alcohol.

Can I hire my own vendors?

Yes you may. While we do have preferred vendors readily available to serve your needs you are not required to use them.

If you opt out of hiring a licensed caterer there is a $250.00 kitchen fee to use our space and equipment AND it must be returned to the condition it was in at the start of your rental. IT MUST BE CLEANED!!! No EXCEPTIONS!!!

Do I need to purchase Event/Wedding insurance?

We do encourage all clients to purchase day of insurance. WedSafe is a great source. This affordable policy can be purchased at www.privateeventinsurance.com

Do I need to provide security?

If you have any doubts whatsoever I encourage you to hire security. If you DO NOT and at any point your event becomes unmanageable, security will be called and you will be invoiced for the cost or asked to leave the premises.
